Description:  Creating a detailed budget is the key to helping clients manage their finances. Although four out of five Americans use a budget to plan their spending, 20 percent of them keep only a mental budget. Assisting your clients with putting their budget on paper or in a basic spreadsheet is an essential good first step if you want to help the client have a healthy financial future.
