Description: Social Security is an often-misunderstood topic. This benefit was originally designed to supplement retirement income, but over the years it has represented a larger piece of a client’s retirement income than initially thought. Determining what a client is entitled to, establishing eligibility, and determining when to begin collecting benefits are all critical pieces of the puzzle. As more of our clients are getting ready to collect benefits, we need to help guide them clients through the dos and don’ts. Presented by Jeff Rattiner, CPA, CFP®, MBA, of Rattiner’s Financial Planning Fast Track®, Inc., this session will guide you through the operative of what to look for when reviewing and analyzing social security concerns.
