Live Webinars

XYPN Hosts at least 12 live CFP® CE webinars each year, typically one per month, including CFP® CE Ethics sessions.

Visit the Membership Calendar in the XYPN Portal and search "Continuing Education" to view upcoming webinars. New webinars are posted regularly. We also offer opportunities to fulfill your 2-hour CFP® Ethics requirement. These are typically offered twice a year, in Winter and Summer.

  • What can I expect from the sessions?

    These one-hour sessions, presented by industry experts, include live instruction along with an opportunity for you to ask questions during the webinar.

  • How do I get credit?

    After the webinar is over, we’ll email you a form you’ll use to provide your name and CFP number; our team then submits your credits to the CFP® Board within one week.

  • Can I receive non-CFP® CE credit?

    At this time, XYPN only supports and reports CFP® Continuing Education on behalf of members. Members may be able to self-report CE to other organizations they are a part of.

  • What can I expect from the sessions?

    Here you’ll find webinar recordings and sessions filmed at #XYPNLIVE. Simply watch any video you choose and take the exam. You’ll answer 5 multiple choice questions per credit hour.

  • When and where do you add new sessions?

    All recorded CE webinars and #XYPNLIVE CE sessions are added to XYPN Academy. We add new sessions every month! Click the link above to view all courses and get started.

  • How do I get credit?

    To earn CFP® credits, you must pass each exam with a 70% or higher. We review exam results and report credits to the CFP® Board on the 1st and 15th of each month. Once we’ve reported your credits, you’ll receive a confirmation email from the Board.

#XYPNLIVE CE Sessions

  • What can I expect from the sessions?

    #XYPNLIVE, our annual conference, offers multiple breakout CE sessions. These sessions cover a wide range of topics relevant to the CFP® designation and are led by industry experts.

  • How do I attend?

    Check the conference schedule in the link above to see which sessions qualify for CE credit. During the conference, you can choose any CE breakout sessions you like.

  • How do I get credit?

    After attending virtual CE sessions, we’ll send you a survey to complete with your CFP® ID and personal info. We'll report your credits to the CFP® Board within one week of the conference. You’ll then receive a confirmation email from the Board.
